The Long Table

It’s not often that I can spend a Monday at a massive antiques market but that’s exactly what I did yesterday! Twice a year, an enormous open-air antiques market takes place in the town of  Warrenton. This time I went with a friend and the weather was absolutely perfect! We had a lot of fun but I have to say the highlight for me was our midday picnic. We picked a fabulous place to park and decided to set up shop right behind the car with a view of a pond, some cows and the rolling countryside. Except for the powered motor home about thirty feet away it felt a smidgen like a scene from “Out of Africa”.
