Feel like your kitchen needs an update but don’t want to take on a major remodel? Today, I’m sharing 5 easy ways to update your kitchen to give it a whole new look without the headache of a renovation.

1 ADD A NEW RUG

Adding a runner or area rug (depending on the size of your kitchen) can add gorgeous color and texture to your kitchen.

2. CHANGE OUT YOUR HARDWARE

I like to think of cabinet hardware as the jewels of your kitchen. Match the hardware to the finish of your light fixture or use it as a bold accent — whatever the case, it is an easy way to update your kitchen.

3. ADD NEW STOOLS

Replacing your stools is an easy and very effective way to add an accent color to your kitchen. They can easily add warmth to an all white kitchen, as in the photo above, or if you want more texture in your kitchen try a natural fiber stool.

4.  REPLACE LIGHTING
